AJ Carrillo has been practicing sustainable landscape design and regenerative agriculture for over 13 years. He has a Masters in urban resilience and sustainability from CU’s MENV program, where he focused on nature-based climate solutions and regenerative land-use. He has broad experience, ranging from the design of large-scale stormwater management and agroforestry systems for complex ranching and farming operations across the US, to designing bespoke permaculture systems for residential and commercial clients throughout Colorado. AJ finds hope in ecological restoration and community collaboration, and enjoys teaching, wildflower hikes, and planting trees.
